Come with me, and ponder the question.

Why Apple, why?

Ah, the everyday normal apple. It’s everywhere. But why?

Confused? Wondering what the title is about? You might be saying, ‘Apple is just an everyday innocent fruit,’ or is it? *Vsauce Theme starts playing*

“And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.”

The forbidden fruit, or as we call it today,

“APPLE,” was eaten by Adam and Eve despite God’s warnings which thus led to the loss of humanity’s innocence and the beginning of its fall. This makes it quite clear that innocence is not the adjective for An Apple; by the way, “the fall” rings a bell in another “direction,” something that keeps us “grounded,” the highlight of our physics textbook. Yes. The Law of Gravitation, which, as it is said, was also discovered by the fall of an Apple. Was it just a coincidence?

Well, assuming you have decided to ponder deep enough. In that case, establishing humankind’s doom actually refers to the creation of the Life-Death cycle, which, after all, gave humanity a purpose in life, a motivation to live it, since it will inevitably end someday.

And then, the discovery of gravitation led to groundbreaking discoveries of Earth’s physical principles, thus unveiling the various magical natural phenomena leading us to modernize and expand the technology to where we are today.

The Apple then entered our literature and fantasies, yup! That’s right. It first came to Doctors everywhere. Every child is told, “An APPLE a day keeps the doctor away.” Why can’t banana do that? Why does it have to be an APPLE? People even started referring to their loved ones as “The APPLE of their eye” what can’t they be the mango of their eye? It even invaded the mind of The Evil Queen, who tried to kill Snow White with her poisoned APPLES! Mind blown!! (I think I went too far with that, it’s true nevertheless).

And this is not even the end. The greatest Tech Giant of all time was created when a light bulb of an idea lit in the mind of Sir Steve Jobs and gave us, well, APPLE! With people growing crazy over its range of products engraved with the bitten apple. And now, if you actually think about it, this could be THE END, with the ever-increasing technology and the prophesized robotic apocalypse!

So, with all that listed above, doesn’t it seem that this ‘Apple’ may have been responsible for our entire existence, from creation to destruction? Has Apple been a secret hidden superpower all this time, existing between us as an ordinary fruit?

It’s actually a thing to wonder, did we completely miss the point of everything we are and everything we know all along? Is the reality that we are living in even real? I think the best way we can infer this is that “The World is full of Magical Things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”
